BSc (Hons) Osteopathy
I have been offering Osteopathy in Witney, west of Oxford, since I qualified from Oxford Brookes University, with first class honours. I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and am a member of the British Institute of Osteopathy (BIO).
To help you get back to doing the things you enjoy best, I always seek to gain an understanding of your individual experience and pain presentation. I will also consider other influencing factors into my diagnostic and treatment management process. Using my hands, I identify and release barriers to health in your body to improve your wellbeing.
I have built up experience and knowledge in treating people suffering from chronic stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder, since I broadened my scope of practice in cranial osteopathy and classical osteopathy. Read patient testimonials about how I help people with acute injuries or more chronic issues e.g. active people with various sporting injuries; office workers with neck and shoulder pain; new mums or mums to be with back pain; people suffering with pain from osteoarthritis in the hips or knees, or even from disorders of the jaw (TMJ), as well as nerve-related pain.
Prior to my qualification in osteopathy, I was a qualified sports massage therapist. If appropriate, sports massage may form a part of your osteopathic treatment plan. I provide a holistic treatment approach including symptomatic relief as well as preventative management.
Away from my treatment space my hobbies include powerlifting, playing the piano, meditation, and yoga. I am also a qualified yoga teacher and incorporate a meditative practice with my group or individual classes.
Osteopathy appointments or yoga classes with me can now be booked online. I look forward to hearing from you.
